What comes in the kit?
One manual anti-choking suction device, three transparent face masks (toddler, child and adult) and the manufacturer's instructions.
Which mask should I use?
Based on manufacturer sizing: toddler mask for ages 1–3, child mask for ages 3–12 and adult mask for ages 12+. Choose the mask that best covers the mouth and nose of the person being helped.
Does it need batteries or charging?
No. It works manually, so it's always ready to use.
How does it work?
According to the manufacturer, a one-way valve system pushes air out through side valves when you press down, then creates suction through the centre when you pull up. Read the included instructions before first use so you know the steps in advance.
Is it reusable?
Follow the manufacturer's instructions on cleaning, inspection and replacement after use. If a part looks damaged, don't rely on it and contact us.
Safety
Can this replace first aid or calling an ambulance?
No. Always call emergency services (112) first and follow recognised choking first-aid steps such as back blows and thrusts. Use the device as an additional aid, as described in the manufacturer's instructions. We strongly recommend a certified first-aid course for every caregiver.
Where should I keep it?
Somewhere every adult in the home knows about and can reach quickly, such as the kitchen, near the dining table, or in a nappy bag or car. Keep it out of children's reach when not in use.
